as summer ends in springe - posted on 28 october 2013

yellowing trees in springe (an hours away from hannover in germany) has fascinated me... the forests are not afire like they would if there were maple trees.. but like always, the leaves being whisked away from trees by the wind, falling to the ground, piled up in the forest, or scattered in the green grass is fascinating... these are some of the pictures and little video clips...

this giant tree with its yellow leaves just outside the apartment
... and this one too.. just beginning to change colours...
.. the forest nearby with trees in various stages of 'fall' - ing
... the big tree with less leaves on it, and more leaves below on the grass after a very gusty morning...
.. this blurry video of the falling leaves from that tree...

.. love this image of the green grass speckled with the fallen yellow leaves...
.. a yellow tree in the distance...
 .. heading to the forest...
 ... ahhh leaves...
... the forest path covered wit leaves...
... the wind comes in loud, very loud.. and more leaves leave the trees...
... further up along the forest pathway...
walking through the fallen leaves...
at the hunting lodge.. this leaf was nearly one 'haat' across !
... more leaves... the greener ones show how strong the wind was today...
 .. more leaves on grass...
.. and a protected portion of a tree with leaves still on them
